The Red Ball is aimed for kids at the age of 4-7 years old. It focuses on developing eye-hand coordination, throwing catching court movement. This Red Ball stage is to make more fun in teaching, so the player loves the game and follow the coach’s instructions and enjoy the training. The necessary skills of forehand and backhand strokes are learned. To throw overarm and underarm and catch a ball, no bounce or one bounce. 

Easy to control and understand the technique of forehand, backhand, and volley. It is played on a court measured 36-42ft (10.97-12.8m) x 14-20ft (4.27-6.1m).  The size of the red ball is 8-9cm in diameter and has a rebound height of 85-105cm. The recommended racket sizes for Red (Stage 3) are 17-23 inches (43-58.4cm). The net height can be 0.8-0.838m high at the center for Red, 0.114m lower than the full court net.

The Orange Ball is aimed for kids at the age of 6-9 years old. Players can sustain a rally of 20 balls on a smaller modified court and should be able to serve, play groundstrokes, volleys.  At this level, players should soon be ready to play fixtures.  Matchplay is one of the key elements that helps juniors in their tennis development.

Junior players are looking to practice what they have learned during coaching, who would like to take their tennis more seriously.  It is played on a court measured 58-60ft (17.68-18.29m) x 20-27ft (6.1-8.23m).  The size of the orange ball is 7-8cm in diameter and has a rebound height of 105-120cm.

The recommended racket sizes for Orange (Stage 2) are 23-25 inches (58.4-63.5cm). The net height can be 31.5-36” (0.8-0.914m) high at the center for Red, 0.114m lower than the full court net.

The Green Ball is aimed for kids at the age of 11 and above. Players can serve and play points on a full-sized court. They can consistently rally the ball over the net (30-50 strokes with another Green Ballplayer) and will likely be involved in fixtures. Players continue developing their forehand & backhand strokes by adjusting the grip, separation of the upper body, and lower according to the stance used.  At this level, the players’ primary focus is on fitness and intensive tennis drills to gain consistency.

Players practice match strategy to participate in tennis tournaments to gain confidence on court and stability.  It is played on a court measured 78ft (23.77m) x 27ft (8.23m).  The size of the green ball is 7-8cm in diameter and has a rebound height of 120-135cm. The recommended racket sizes for Green (Stage 1) are 25-26 inches (63.5-66cm). The net height can be (0.914m) high at the center for Green, the same height as the full court net.

The Yellow ball is aimed for youngsters playing tournaments and high levels; these are players reached from Red, Orange & Green stages.  Players will usually be ready to train and compete with the Yellow ball on the full tennis court.  The yellow ball players fall into the advanced player’s category; they can rally and play points, games, and sets.  At this level, the players’ primary focus is on fitness and intensive tennis drills. They refine their stokes techniques for tournament preparations by following the coach’s instructions and being more disciplined on the court to achieve good results.  It is played on a court measured 78ft (23.77m) x 27ft (8.23m).

The size of the Yellow ball is 6.54-6.86cm in diameter. The recommended racket sizes for Yellow (Stage 1) are 26-29 inches (66-73.7cm). The net height can be 36″ (0.914m) high at the center for Yellow, the same height as the full court net.
